Accessibility Statement

We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, WCAG 2.1 Level AA, as our reference standard. We are working toward that standard rather than claiming we have already met it, and we would rather tell you where we are than overstate it.

Steps we have taken so far include:

• Building the site with standard HTML structure and a correct heading order on every page
• Writing descriptive alternative text for images that carry meaning
• Checking color combinations for contrast against the AA minimum
• Making sure the site works at different screen sizes and zoom levels
• Labeling every field on our estimate form

We have chosen not to install an accessibility overlay or toolbar. These products advertise instant compliance and in practice often interfere with the screen readers and other assistive technology people already use. We would rather fix the site itself.
